Schuberth C5 Helmet Carbon Gloss . The Schuberth C5 is the first Schuberth Performance motorcycle helmet. Its full carbon shell is handcrafted by specialized technicians who build Formula 1 helmets. Thanks to the manual lamination and autoclave curing processes, the C5 Carbon shell combines extremely light weight with unrivalled performance. It has P/J approval according to the new ECE 22.06 regulations. The interior, with its exclusive concept of seamless individual linings, offers an incomparable level of comfort. It stands out for offering the possibility of installing a communication system fully integrated with the helmet’s design. TECHNICAL DETAILS: Outer shell: Made of 100% carbon fiber. Shuberth performance technicians have developed the same lamination process as the helmets used in Formula 1. 2 outer shell sizes for a better fit for each size. Inner shell: New EPS material that improves shock absorption and increases headroom. It has two densities in the main part and on the sides. New Ventilation System: The new ventilation system makes the C5 a game changer in the flip-up helmet category. The C5 is designed to combine maximum ventilation, thanks to the double chin air intake and interchangeable filter, together with the multi-channel system inside the EPS and a new rear spoiler that facilitates air extraction. It features a new double front air intake with a washable and interchangeable filter for proper breathing while riding in extreme conditions. Buttons offer easy and variable adjustment of the front ventilation. Schuberth Individual Concept Interior: The C5 sets a new benchmark in terms of comfort. The interior padding has been developed to offer maximum comfort through a new concept of seamless interior linings, which facilitates maintenance and improves acoustic performance. The C5 introduces the “INDIVIDUAL CONCEPT”. It is a program aimed at ensuring maximum comfort for the motorcyclist, giving the possibility of customizing the interior padding with different thickness options. Screen: clear screen of level 1 optical quality, with anti-scratch treatment. It offers a very wide field of vision thanks to the new City Position mechanism. It has a visor mechanism with a patented memory function. Includes Pinlock 120®. Sun visor: It has an integrated 80% tinted and anti-fog sun visor, with different settings and a locking system. SC2 Communication System with Plug & Play Integration (Sold Separately): Extremely easy to install, configure and use, the SC2 Communication System sets a new standard for motorcycle communication. HD speakers, three antennas for FM Radio, Bluetooth Intercom and Mesh intercom are already pre-installed in the SCHUBERTH C5 Carbon. The SC2 is extremely simple to use: just plug in the HD Microphone, remove the covers on the back of the helmet, release the remote housing on the side, plug them both in, turn them on and you’re ready to go! Acoustic performance: The Schuberth C5 Carbon offers excellent performance in terms of aeroacoustic comfort with only 85 dB(A) at 100 km/h. Schuberth has optimized the aeroacoustics in the wind tunnel of each component both inside and outside the helmet. The result is an incomparable level of soundproofing, thanks to the design of its new collar. The C5 benefits from the anti-roll-off system attached to the chin strap in a new, more forward position to improve comfort in the throat area. Reflective zones to improve visibility while driving. The Schuberth C5 is equipped with a micrometric closure system. The helmet has P/J approval to ride in complete safety both with the helmet closed in full-face mode and with the helmet open in jet mode.
