The outer shell made with COVA (carbon fiber and aramid) structure offers excellent aerodynamic performance. It has the speed record in MotoGP, captured at 363.6 km/h! The rear spoiler stands out to improve aerodynamic performance and stability at high speed. This is the top of the range helmet resulting from Shark’s experience at the highest levels of competition (MotoGP and SBK) with more than 250 podiums. Technical characteristics Outer shell Outer shell made of carbon fiber and Aramid. This technology has been named by the brand as COVA (Carbon On View & Aramid). This compound is very light and ensures optimal impact absorption and great resistance to abrasion and compression, clearly reducing tension in the cervical muscles. The chin area is also made of dual-density expanded polyurethane. In this way, shock absorption in the front part of the helmet is further optimized. The chin guard incorporates a removable anti-pollution filter with variable airflow. Ventilation: Efficient ventilation system that has an air inlet in the chin guard, one inlet just above the screen and two more in the upper part of the shell. All air inlets are easily manipulated with gloves. On the sides we find two small stabilizers in the form of air outlets that guarantee optimal air circulation. Aerodynamics The aerodynamic profile of the Race-R Pro GP 06 has been tested in the wind tunnel based on digital simulations for exceptional air penetration and reduction of the turbulence or “buffeting” effect, providing optimal stability at high speed. The rear spoiler offers high aerodynamic efficiency and stabilizes the hull at high speeds. It has been designed to detach in the event of an accident to affect the entire helmet as little as possible and guarantee maximum safety for the pilot. The racing design chin guard profile reduces aerodynamic resistance behind the motorcycle fairing. Screen The Race-R Pro GP 06 features a clear optical class 1 display with variable densities (2.8 mm at the edges and 4.25 mm in the center); offers perfect optical quality.
